Training takes many different forms, from a formal academic approach to self-learning, it can encompass on the job "shadowing", reading, writing, discussing, and testing, it is ongoing, relentless and challenging ...learning never ends, nor should it.

KHA’s approach to training starts with an Assessment Centre. We need to agree with the client the level of knowledge, experience and ability required to successfully undertake not only the job in hand but its impact on the company’s performance and the individual’s ability to develop within the organisation. A full Assessment Programme will reveal true strengths and development needs and will identify areas for further training. Because people learn in different ways it is important that ‘training programmes’ are structured to suit the individuals' learning styles.

Through our network of training associates KHA is able to assemble a team of development specialists that can operate at all organisational levels in most business functions.

Once assembled and fully briefed such a team would analyse the results of the assessment programme with a view to then producing a training needs analysis for each participant. As the training and other development activities are undertaken a KHA mentoring consultant would work with each participant to assess progress and agree modifications and additions.

A recent addition to the KHA portfolio of development and training services is the inclusion of NVQ appraisal and accreditation. Perhaps one of the most powerful tools in determining the effectiveness of training and development, a properly structured NVQ programme is not only highly motivational and gratifying for the participants but also provides employers with the guarantee that their training efforts are being rewarded.
